Hi folks ... Hope you are well. "She who must be obeyed" (you remember Rumpole) was struck by a large love bug whilst cruising a local antique shop a couple of days ago. She called me to report that she had just seen he cutest little console radio and she wondered if she should buy it. What a question. Long story short she did and I am now the proud owner of a decent example of the Braun 222 UKW radio and phono. The only thing missing was the phono. Oh No! Does anyone have an idea what the model number of the phono was? I feel an obligation to mate these two instruments once again, but have not found any clues as to the model number I should be working towards. Thanks, Dave Lowa-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greg. oh… UKW (ultrakurzwellen) is the German abbreviation for VHF (very high frequency) 30 - 300 MHz The FM band is within the 88 - 108 MHz portion. viewtopic.php?p=3516554#p3516554
Hi Greg, I thought I might hear from you on this one. And yes I am prepared for a long uphill battle finding this turntable. I keep wanting to refer to it as a changer and have to remember that it's a record player only. Thanks again, Dave Lowa
