As the title says.
Need to hook up with someone who has a good glass from a donor radio, or can make a new one. Slovenly boat-anchor I have the misfortune of having married, has dorked around my bench, moved crap around, and broke the glass (actually, I broke the glass when I tried to extract the radio from the pile of junk it was buried in).
Haven't posted for some time, so I am not sure where this should go.

You might try Mark at http://www.dialcover.com. He doesn't have that one listed, but he'd be worth a try, especially if you still have the remains of the old one. Dale

Got an email out already to Mark Oppat, we shall see what he has. Will also send one out to Palmquist, and see what he has to say.
Thanks for the heads-up. Been away from the bench for a long time, and decided to get back into my radios. Keeping it simple for right now. Working on one of my old Tektronix pieces, and want to get the old Delco back working. While the R-1156 isn't very collectible, it is one of my first radios, and has special meaning.

Looked at Mr. Palmquist's site, and noted that he only makes covers, not scales. There isn't any cover on the 1156, just a glass scale with the dial numbering.

It looks like I am going to send the mortal remains of this scale off to Radio Daze and see if there graphics folks can come up with a replacement. According to Jon at RD, they have done such work before, and the cost is tolerable. The big problem is repairing the image in the computer program. I have done similar, and it can take some time. The process of actually making the once you have complete graphics is quite easy.
