The chassis has been fully restored and is playing quite well.. It was spacious and there were not too many caps to replace..

This step was hard because of the poor repair I mentioned.. This was stripped and then left in a damp place.. The top started to buckle and they tried gluing down the veneer but didnt use clamps.. I could not repair this without re-veneering or sanding through the veneer to make it flat.. The finished product is not perfect due to this... I grain filled the top of the cabinet as it was the only walnut. The rest had no grain issues since it was solid pine..

This step was the usual.. I cleaned up all the corners and removed all the excess dried grain filler. I then washed the cabinet with mineral spirits and let it dry. I used perfect brown toner on the cabinet sides, trim, and a lighter coat on top..
