It has been a while since I finished a radio, especially a console. I did sell a few at the SCARS auction at or below the value of the tubes, but am happy to have the space. Why? Our master bathroom remodel. It started with buying many of the items before the end of 2017, but we had guests for two weeks, so the demolition did not occur until seven weeks ago. It was my project to design, but Rima and I selected the quartzite stone and she chose the paint. The vanities are very high quality walnut veneer plywood, although not the same finish as our radios The overall cost was right at $30,000, a good investment in the value of the property and our enjoyment of it. Overall view from the entry. The mirrors have LED lights in them. The quartzite in the shower. I had to drill 17 holes in the quartzite to mount the shower door assembly. Next time, the contractors can do that.. The heated floor is much nicer than the old electric space heater we had been using on cooler mornings This is the fan - light which does not at all look like a fan. It is controlled by a humidistat, so comes on as needed.

Thanks! I am at El Pollo Loco now getting some supper after buying two new shower heads. We cleaned the old ones, but after 20 years they must be worn out, so I will replace them this evening.

Just one thing. Do you have a doorstop on that shower door? I just wonder about those things when I see them. Heavy plate glass on 2 small hinges. I was a home inspector for 10 years and have seen a lot of high end bathrooms. That one looks pretty good, congrats. Ok, one more. Do the sinks have overflow drains? Many have stoppers but no overflow. I tell people if they've got grandkids, pull the stoppers out of these sinks.

Your bathroom is bigger than my bedroom.

The sinks do not have overflows. We do not have children, so the risk is about zero.
The shower door does not need a stop. The stone is plumb, as is the door frame, so it will stay open at any position past 1/2 open, and will be stopped by the towel holders if opened all of the way. It soft closes at positions less than 1/2 open. We got bids as high as $2,000 for custom shower doors with 1/2" glass, but decided to buy this door with 3/8" glass from Home Depot. I also did not want the high localized loads of the frameless designs with two hinges. That stone was expensive....
Joseph, I am 60 and Rima is 55. You have plenty of time to earn and surpass us. The whole house is only 2,704 square feet (four bedroom, three bathroom).

Great looking remodel job, but those sharp corners on the counter tops on both sides of the tub would scare the hell out of me from a safety standpoint.

Looks great, Stephen! Very custom! Umm, what's that horizontal black mark on the back marble slab in the shower? Not a crack I hope?

Thanks to all! It is nice to go from plan to finished.
The line in the quartzite is part of the natural color in the stone. By buying three slabs, we were able to match that line on the three sides of the shower. It is interesting to look at the stone and see all of the various color and features.
The stone yard where we bought this stone had some stone which looks just like giant pieces of wood veneer. If you haven't been to a stone yard, it is fun just to look and see the great variety of granite, quartzite and marble.
The countertop edges are rounded, and there is 14" from the corner of each vanity cabinet to the edge of the tub.
