Anyone know if these round dial type items are repopped by anyone? I talked with radiodaze, they do not carry them, and seems all the other suppliers web pages do not have anything either.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know of a source, but the radios are common enough on eBay.

I'd suggest saving a search on eBay, and watching for one to come up with a low opening bid that has a broken cabinet or is cabinet only. Maybe you can pick up a parts donor for a little bit of money.

Or post a WTB in the Classifieds forum. Maybe someone has a broken cabinet they'd sell you that has decent trim rings on it.

Thanks for the advice. I have 6 of these radios and I'm thinking I may have to find someone to manufacture these rings for others like me who love these certain radios.

There was a thread on here, few years ago, from someone who did a marvellous job of restoring the dial of a Zenith Racetrack? It was circular like yours and had the letters in white on a brass coloured background. It was done as I remember it with a white powder that was set in someway, baked maybe?

Of course I didn't keep a link to it but someone may know where it is.

I do the pointers and if you have the gold surround I can make that most likely.
It could be a while though.

:)

I do have a few good looking surrounds if you're interested. i would make it worth your while, you may even be able to develop a niche with these?

If, and only if you're interested feel free to email me anytime.
Thanks
