Have a cathedral radio that otherwise is in nice shape. The problem is it seems to have ripples in the cabinet going across the curved top. Not the veneer - but all the way through so the top has a subtle "scallop" effect to it if you run your hand across the top. I think it has to do wit moving it into a dry environment. Anyone try spraying a little water inside the curved cabinet top to eliminate this effect? The finish on the outside seems to be fine.

Don't think that would work even if you had a press, to fix you will have to do some reshaping on outer skin with a polyester filler and then re veneer entire top and all along the sides and down to base molding. That's the way I would do it, done it before on un even top and rippled surfaces.
