It's not bad. Board has been refinished and cap replaced. Sold As-Is. I would like to see a photo of the T/A insides. I wouldn't buy it, but many will be interested.

Ray - It's the early version of the model 9, 4445. The later 9C, 4660 used condensers instead or variometers. There's also a 9A, 4445A with a different layout also using variometers. I have the 9 and 9A. If you don't have one and the price is right, why not? I would ask for pics of inside the tube island.
( I just ordered a case for the AK12. Did you get the Radiodyne we had talked about awhile back Ray?)

I wouldn't pay as much for this example as I would for one in all original nice condition but I'm sure someone will.
What is this model normally valued at in nice original condition?

What is this model normally valued at in nice original condition? I would't be surprised to see one that's all original go for $1600.00 or more in very good condition, especially the earlier versions.

It's obvious it's not 100% original, but not in bad condition. If the TA unit is still untouched inside, I would think it would be worth about $900 -$1000. I wouldn't be surprised to see a $1200 bid. It does have one of the paper tags on the bottom, which is a good thing.

Opening a TA, if original, could possibly break the brittle sleeves of the wiring coming from the tar. Probably won’t create any problems. ________________ xeric N7CAH
