My silver Marshall 726SW has all Sprague Micro Caps in it
they are rectangular, 1.25" x 1.0" by 0.25" thick
what cap's do they make of this shape, 630v

their values are 4uf, .oo6uf, . .001uf, 140pf, 0.025uf, 0.015uf, 0.1uf, 0.066mf

the others are also rectangular, about the same size but more plastic looking and only about 1/8" thick

also noticed a few of them have two leads coming out at both ends, it looks like the lower leads are actually a mechanical support and right above it are the capacitor leads

one additional odd part are a few flat resistors with a metal tab at both ends about 0.25" wide, about 1.25" long and only 1/8" thick, 100 and 400 ohms wire wound

any recommendations so I can rebuild it with similar OEM looking replacements

thanks Rom

A few photos might help us help you. Sounds like European made parts. I had some Germany manufactured cameras that used components similar to what you describe, back in the 70s.. Not sure if I've seen anything similar in the "normal" parts channels.

You can of course find replacement parts that work the same... but they won't look the same. Perhaps contact a guitar amp specialist or at least a sales outfit like Sweetwater or similar, they may have a line on original components being a dealer.

Or you might try contacting Marshall directly... they are still in business.

The guitar amp outfit is post 1962 and in the UK. Silver Marshal was in Chicago.

If the old caps are bad, your only recourse will be to make replicas, if you want an original looking radio.

If you sub-in something else, at least save all the old parts.
