Im working on a silvertone radio and its magic tuning eye 6U5 has a part that is soldered
in the base connector between the plate lead and the translator (mixer). It looks like a small capped resistor. Ive got a good megohmmeter and it measures 50 megohms so if it is R13 (1 megohm) I know its bad. What you guys think?

Yep, that’s the 1m resistor between pins 2 and 4. They are often bad in eye tubes.

Thanks Diverted. Also appreciate your comment about them usually going bad.
