 Post subject: RCA 45 J help needed

I just completed a full restoration of my RCA 45J record player, and all is working fine, except one thing.

The problem is it does not play to the end of a record. Instead the tone arm lifts off the record after only playing about 80% of the record.

Everything else seems to work fine. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?

When overhauling RCA RP-168 record changers, I've had the best luck following the sequence of adjustments shown starting of page 142 of the 1950 Beitman manual:
