Delivering that next package to your door, with a smile. Something has to get the package from the autonomous self driving delivery vehicle to your porch. I guess this is it. I first saw this in the local Detroit Auto Scene - Tech Center News.

We got an automated Delivery unit at my work placed. Call Her D.O.T.T.Y., or Delivering on time to you. Sometimes she works good, sometimes she gets lost. Nature of the beast I guess.

Great, a self-driving vehicle, carrying a delivery robot. I wonder how long it'll be before we have robot brain surgeons.
You think that it's tough getting a job now...

Greetings to Fifties and the Forum:

Uh... don't look now, but we already have. Lots of really delicate surgery is performed robotically (under the control of a real surgeon) because a person's hands cannot be steady enough or make small enough movements to do the job. The robotics damp out the shakes and act as a sort of multi-axis pantograph to allow the surgeon to make gross motions that are transmitted into really small movements in the operating field. Full-on automation can't be too far away.

Regards,

Shows the future of jobs. Technical in designing, building, servicing, repairing will be the high paying job to have.
The pay rate for a tech willing to travel 80-90% is 6 figures now. no college needed for some of these
