Picked up a “working� Leader frequency counter made in Japan.
Going to clean, recap and calibrate, which seems pretty straight forward but can’t seem to find a any reference of, schematic of, nor manual for this nice little Nixie tube gadget.
Tried all the normal places, here... bama... no joy.
If any has a copy or any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated and I’ll share it here & upload.

I'd reconsider a "recap" before you see if it's actually working. Obviously replace any electrolytics that are visibly leaking or bulging, and perhaps any wax/paper caps if it has those, but otherwise ... see if it works before going on the warpath would be my suggestion. A lot of test equipment used much higher grade components than consumer stuff, and may work just fine without introducing a ton of extra variables should something be NOT working.

And I would absolutely not dive into the innards before locating a manual or at the very least, a schematic

Hopefully my scan will be of help. I did change some electrolytic capacitors, the counter works fine - more for fun than use.

Thank you rv2p800, looks like that counter uses some MECL logic elements in the signal conditioning circuit. Looks to be from the mid/late 70s. No oven, but it'll be easy to zero beat with WWV and at room temp it should be plenty good enough.

Thanks very much for posting the manual. I found one of these on Ebay a few weeks ago after searching for a couple of years, but no luck on a manual or schematic. Luckily mine worked fine on arrival. It needed a new line cord and a good cleaning on the outside otherwise in great shape. My first counter years ago was a nixie tube type and I'd wanted to find one just to look at I guess.
