I can not get the console to play the external speaker radio and turntable both work any one know what I should look for?

Your post is a little confusing, is it the external speaker that doesn't work?

We're going to need a lot more information. As asked above, do you mean a connected external speaker has no sound? M74 would not be a Silvertone console model number. It is a model number for a Shure cartridge however. Photos of the controls & faceplate and also the external speaker connections would help.

Can you possibly answer the exact questions that were posted at the beginning of this thread? No one can help you much unless you define the problem. And provide the model number. Online troubleshooting is difficult enough WITH all that information. Without, it's impossible.
