The Antique Wireless Museum has released a classic Bruce Kelley video from its vaults, The Trans-Atlantic Test of 1921, which explores the pioneering efforts by amateur radio operators to successfully use shortwave frequencies to communicate across the Atlantic Ocean.

You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/b1-Xr4fbpsQ

Enjoy,

Mark

Programs like this got me interested in radio more than 65 years ago.

Thanks for sharing this. A milestone in Amateur Radio!
I am glad I got to meet and talk with Bruce Kelley back in the late 1980s.

I also got to meet Bruce, back in 1989, when we were living not too far from the museum. We were driving around and saw the sign, so we stopped in. Bruce gave us a tour, and even fired up the big spark transmitter upstairs. Looking at the radios, I said to my wife "I have stuff like this at home". Bruce replied "Oh, you're a collector; you must join our organization!" Just like that, I became an AWA member. Bruce was a very nice guy, and I was sad to learn of his passing.

Great video !

Read about this when I was a kid ( one thousand years ago) in Mc Mahon's Vintage Radio : 1887-1929.
